The Todd County Central Rebels ventured into the 3rd Region Tuesday night and matched up against the unbeaten Whitesville Trinity Raiders. The Rebels nearly handed Trinity its first loss of the season, but the Raiders managed to pull out a hard-fought 57-54 win.
The loss was the second tough one in a row for the Rebels, who battled Bowling Green Friday night before falling 54-48.
Trinity has gotten off to a very solid start this season. The Raiders have now picked up wins over Daviess County, Breckinridge County, and Todd Central to start the 2022-2023 season at 3-0.
The Rebels will not have long to dwell on this game as they are right back on the road Thurdsday night. This time a little bit shorter drive as they venture over to Princeton to take on the Caldwell County Tigers, who ran into a buzz saw Tuesday night in the form of the Hopkinsville Tigers.
Todd Central will head into the game at 1-3 on the season.
