Kentucky extended their undefeated streak at Rupp Arena on Saturday following a 69-59 defeat on Yale. Oscar Tshiebwe carried the load with 28 points on 13-18 shooting (scoring 22 in the second half) and dominated inside the paint. Just a few days after head coach John Calipari made the comment that Tshiebwe wasn’t fully at 100%, the reigning National Player of the Year had arguably his best game of the season. The Wildcats will need this same Tshiebwe and more consistency from his teammates next Saturday in New York City when No. 16 Kentucky faces No. 19 UCLA in the CBS Sports Classic.
