The Christian County girls’ basketball team was looking for a second straight win after topping 8th-District rivals Hopkinsville over the weekend, but the host Bowling Green Lady Purples proved too much in a 64-20 defeat on Tuesday.

After suffering its first loss of the season against McCracken County last time out, Bowling Green raced out to a 23-7 lead after the first quarter.  Ryleigh Campbell paced the Lady Purples with ten early points, and Meadow Tisdale added six.
