
The first boys’ basketball RPI rankings of the season have been released by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association. In the 2nd Region, the defending champions stand at the top of the list as the calendar prepares to flip into the 2023 portion of the 2022-2023 season.
Lyon County holds the top spot in the rankings with an RPI of .72052. The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons are second at .67862. University Heights is third with an RPI of .61461.
Statewide, Lyon County is currently ranked 9th. Pulaski County holds down the number one spot with an RPI of .77190. Covington Catholic is second, with Harlan ranked third.
