Glass Scores En Masse To Lead Rebels to Battle at the Border Title Game

Todd County Central extended its season-high five-game winning streak by rolling into the championship of the Battle at the Border with a 72-47 win over Central Magnet School Thursday.

Jamison Glass was the difference-maker in this one. The Todd Central junior scored 32 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in earning player of the game honors. He scored seven of Todd’s first 10 points as the Rebels jumped out to a 10-0 lead.

Glass had 17 points by halftime as the Rebels built a 33-15 lead at the break. Treyvon Foster scored nine of his 18 points in the third quarter as the Rebels pushed its lead to 29 points.

The Rebel defense was effective all night, scoring 23 points off 14 turnovers. Todd committed just eight turnovers.

Mason Brown led the Tigers with 15 points.

Todd County Central will play West Creek of Clarksville for the championship Friday night at 7:30.

Central Magnet will play another Tennessee school – Covington High – in the third place game at 6 pm.
