Hopkinsville High Recognizes Football Tigers at Banquet (w/PHOTOS)

The 2022 Hopkinsville Tiger football team was recognized at its annual postseason awards banquet Sunday.

Award winners were:

Coaches Awards – Devin Coleman, Aiden King, Iriel Leak, JyQuaveious Catlett, Alden Marshall. Mekhilen Jeffers, Jamaure Ennels, Jarvis Gatlin, and Latravean Sharber

Most Outstanding Freshman – Foster Jackson

Most Outstanding JV Player – Treston Kay

Most Outstanding JV Defensive Player – Amoni Johnson

Most Improved – Dequavion Bronaugh

Most Outstanding Newcomer – Darius Green

Prep Team Award – Samuel Kanu

Battle Back Award – Jakob Gavin

Special Teams Award – Zach Moss

Iron Tiger Weight Room Award – Guy Blythe

Offensive Player of the Year – Daisjaun Mercer

Michael Back Award – Jacob Bealle

Defensive Player of the Year – C.J. Stallworth

Mike McGee Award – Jay’Von Bradley

Bud Hudson Award – Jaron Mills

Jerry Claiborne Award – Isaiah Manning

Win the Day Award – Trushaun Matt

 

Andrew Self was also recognized after he announced he was retiring as assistant coach.
