
The Heritage Christian Academy archery team finished in fifth place Saturday at the Laker Shootout hosted by Calloway County High School.
Haley Killebrew had the top score of the day for HCA with 277 which was good for fifth place. Kate Smith shot a 256 to finish in 28th place. Mekena Dalke shot a 251 to claim 40th place, and LuAnna Acree’s 219 was good for 79th place.
Cole Cansler had the top score for the guys with a 262 which put him in 19th place. Eli Lovelady shot a 262 to finish in 22nd place, followed by Weston Shearin (255) in 26th place, Johnathon Allard (254) in 31st place, and Joseph Wiggleton (254) in 33rd place.
Ethan Skiles of Community Christian Academy had the top score of the day with 288, while Calloway County’s Haley Dawson had the top female score with 286.
As a team, Heritage Christian Academy shot 2,979 to finish in fifth place, 69 points behind fourth place Marshall County. Calloway County won the event with a score of 3,325.
