The Christian County Colonels kicked off a weekend of basketball in Indiana with a 69-55 victory over Evansville Central on Friday to open the Banterra Bank Warrior Showcase.

The Colonels surged above .500 with their third win in four games ahead of a matchup with Castle, IN, on Saturday.

The teams split 28 points in the second frame, and Christian County took a 29-27 edge into the halftime break.
