
Calloway County freshman Sayler Lowe had 36 points and 18 rebounds to help the Lady Lakers defeat Caldwell County 66-42 Friday night in Murray.
In a game that was a late addition to the schedule, Calloway ran out to a 29-9 lead after one quarter on the way to the 24-point triumph.
Jaiden Koch added 10 points for Calloway, which ended an 11-game losing streak and is now 2-12.
Caldwell (4-11) got 13 points from A.J. Hollowell and 10 from Tink Clark.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Thursday when they host Hopkins County Central as part of a 7th District girls and boys varsity doubleheader.
