The Hopkinsville High girls’ swim team will have three relay teams and 14 individuals competing at Saturday’s Region I Swim Meet at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center following Friday’s preliminary round.
The 200-yard free relay team had the fastest time of the day, and the 200-yard medley relay team had the second-fastest time of the day. Also qualifying was the 400-yard free relay team.
Two individuals had the fastest time of their event Friday. Elizabeth Langhi was first in the 100-yard freestyle and Riley Robinson swam the top time in the 100-yard breaststroke to earn the top seed in Saturday’s finals.
The top two finishers in each event Saturday qualify for the state meet with the next 16 fastest times statewide earning at large bids.

Riley Robinson – 200-yard IM and 100-yard breaststroke
Livie Jorgensen – 200-yard IM and 100-ytard breaststroke
Lauren Montgomery – 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle
Grace Cansler – 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke
Kaydon Coats – 50-yard freestyle
Dakota Mooney – 50-yard freestyle
Ella Brown – 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke
Kaley Bangart – 500-yard freestyle
Brilyn Merrick – 100-yard backstroke
Evelyn Bangart – 100-yard backstroke
For the boys, there will be three swimmers representing Hopkinsville in Saturday’s finals.
Cody Robinson – 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke
McHale Manning-Lewis – 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle
Cam Peacock – 500-yard freestyle – second fastest time and 100-yard breaststroke
