The Senior Night victory is the final game for the basketball floor at HCA. It’s set to be torn up and replaced, with the Warriors and Lady Warriors finishing out the season practicing at Sinking Fork Elementary.
A parade of layups put the Warriors in control early on. Robles scored ten in the first quarter, and fellow senior Landon Porter added five for a 21-10 advantage.
Oak Ridge’s Jake Meredith kept his team in the game with 15 first-half points, but HCA took an 11-point lead into the halftime break.
The Warriors tightened the defensive screws in the third quarter to hold Oak Ridge to only eight points. Robles added seven, and the margin reached 22 points with a quarter to play.
Porter drilled a pair of three-pointers to start the fourth, taking his total to 14 points. Robles tacked on seven more before the Warrior seniors left their home floor for the final time.
