Fort Campbell Girls Bow to Russellville

Lareesha Cawthorn had 18 points and 15 rebounds Monday night to help Russellville’s girls pick up a 55-12 victory at Fort Campbell.

The Lady Panthers, now 13-13, ran out to a 23-4 lead after just 8 minutes and took a 33-8 advantage to halftime.

A’miyah Collier added 13 points for Russellville while Ja’eda Poindexter had nine.

Jaidah Ezcaman had four points and seven rebounds for the Lady Falcons while Rosella Rajj had a team-high eight boards to go with two points.

Fort Campbell (2-17) made just four 27 field goal attempts in the contest.

Russellville held a 50-26 advantage on the glass.

The Lady Panthers have taken eight straight from Fort Campbell going back to February 2013.

The Lady Falcons are back at it on Tuesday when they visit Butler County.

Russellville plays again on Friday, hosting Edmonson County.
