Crittenden County senior Taylor Guess continues to add accolades to her ever-growing basketball resume with the senior guard named the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches’ region player of the year Friday.
Guess became the 5th District’s all-time leading scorer earlier this season and enters next week’s district tournament with 2,506 career points. For the season, Guess is averaging 23 points and nine rebounds a game in helping the Lady Rockets to a 21-5 record and the No. 1 seed in the district tournament.
Guess will receive an automatic invite to try out for the Kentucky All-Star Team that plays an annual home and home series with Indiana each summer.
