The 5th District’s all-time leading scorer in girls basketball will get the chance to continue her career at the collegiate level. Crittenden County’s Taylor Guess announced Monday that she would be attending Lindsey Wilson College, in Columbia.
Guess was recently named the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches’ 2nd Region ‘Player of the Year.’ That award also earns her finalist status for the 2023 Kentucky Miss Basketball award.
Guess will also get to try out for the Kentucky All-Star Team that plays an annual home-and-home series with Indiana each summer.
Guess became the 5th District’s all-time leading scorer earlier this season and enters this week’s regional tournament with 2,564 career points.
