One website has already named Lyon County’s Travis Perry the state’s best basketball player this season.
NationsElite.com has announced that the Lyon junior is “the Nations Elite 2022-23 Kentucky Boys High School Player of the Year after averaging 32.4 ppg and 6.4 rpg and leading his Lyon basketball team to a No. 4 state ranking.”
It’s been a season of milestones for the Lyon guard, who has scored over 1,000 points this season and over 4,000 points for his career. He also set the state record for made 3-pointers earlier this month when he hit his 464th shot from behind the arc.
