Christian County Blanks Lady Rebels 5-0 in Tuesday Scrimmage

The Christian County Lady Colonels used a strong pitching effort to pick up a win in their first preseason scrimmage Tuesday afternoon. Gracie Harned gave up just three hits in five innings of work as the Lady Colonels got past Todd County Central 5-0.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the third when Avery Adcock left the yard with a three-run blast. Adcock finished the game 2-3 and had two stolen bases.

Kaleigh Shaw, Karlee Crick, and Gracie Harned added to the offensive attack for the Lady Colonels.

Jordan Turner pitched the final two innings of the game for Christian County, giving up no hits and no walks.

Christian County will open the season Monday when they travel across town to take on Hopkinsville.

Todd County Central will start the season at home Monday against Fort Campbell.
