
After spending the bulk of the 2022 season in the opposition’s backfield, Hopkinsville’s CJ Stallworth signed to continue his football career at the University of the Cumberlands at a ceremony at the school on Friday.
Stallworth paced the Tigers with 23 tackles for loss and 16 sacks as a senior to earn All-WKC recognition. He was second on the team with 68 tackles, helping the Tigers to a 6-6 record.
University of the Cumberlands finished 5-5 in 2022, including a 3-5 mark in the Mid-South Conference. Located in Williamsburg, KY, the Patriots compete at the NAIA level.
After making his choice official, Stallworth talked about his academic and football future.
