The UHA boys’ tennis team hosted Hopkins County Central on Thursday at Ruff Park, with the Storm taking the singles matches 3-1 and sweeping a pair of doubles matchups.
In singles play, Matthew Couch fell to Colton Browning 1-6. 0-6, Logan Wood lost 4-8 to Jagger Byron, Paxton Aldridge dropped a 3-8 decision to Carson Mackay, and Franco Fiscella picked up the Blazers’ lone win 8-4 over Tyrone Hopson.
In doubles, Rudra Patel and Lincoln Hauret lost 5-7, 3-6 to Jagger Byron and Carson Mackay, and Myles Hewell and Luke Humphries dropped their match 0-8.
UHA will be back on the court on Friday when they host Caldwell County.
