The Caldwell County boys’ basketball team handed out its 2022-23 season awards on Sunday in the CCHS cafeteria.
Award winners included:
JayDarius Wilson, Most Rebounds, Highest Points, Highest Field Goal Percentage and Most Improved.
Carter Whittington, Most Valuable Teammate, Highest Assists.
Luke Parker, Defense Award.
Demaurius Thompson, Highest 3-Point Field Goal Percentage.
Collin Whittington, Most Steals.
Zavy Bumphus, Highest Free Throw Percentage.
Ryan Hammett, Tiger Award.
Cade Rowland, JV Tiger Award, JV Free Throw Percentage.
Jack Roach, JV Most Points, Freshman Most Points, Freshman Free Throw Percentage.
Luke Maddox, JV Most Improved, JV Most Valuable Teammate.
Ethan Ramage, Freshman Most Improved.
Pax Aikins, Freshman Tiger Award.
In additions, Caldwell seniors Zavy Bumphus, Cannon Littlejohn, Weston Phelps and Camden McGregor were recognized and presented special awards.
