Caldwell County’s Collin Whittington was 2-for-3 on Saturday and drove in the tying run in the sixth inning with a grounder to short. Another run would score on an error on the play as the Tigers defeated Calloway County 6-5 at the VFW Ballpark in Princeton.
After the game, Whittington said leaders are starting to emerge on the team and that players are beginning to figure out their roles on the squad.
