The bats for the South Haven Lady Patriots were up and going early Monday afternoon. South Haven made the trip to Hopkinsville and pounded out 26 hits on their way to a 19-4 five-inning win over the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors.

South Haven scored at least three runs in every inning. The Lady Patriots plated three in the first, four in the second, three in the third, six in the fourth, and three more in the fifth.

HCA was able to come up with nine hits over the five innings but it would turn out to be nowhere near enough against the red-hot bats of the Lady Patriots. The Lady Warriors scored a run in the first on an RBI single from Hallie Zieg. They added a run in the third on a bases-loaded walk. HCA plated two more runs in the fourth.

Kennedy Hughes led the attack for the Lady Warriors going 3-4. Hallie Zieg finished the game 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Madison Warren also ended the game 2-3.
