Niceville wasn’t very pleasant to the Hopkinsville baseball team.
The Florida school held the Tigers to just three base hits while claiming a 5-0 decision on Friday at the Fort Walton Beach Bash.
It’s the fifth-straight setback for Hoptown, which is now 3-9.
Niceville (7-10) got five of its 10 base hits in the second inning while scoring four times.
Another run in the third put the Eagles up 5-0.
Hoptown was limited to just three singles by J.J. Thompson , Lucas Kaetzel and Christopher Medina.
The Tigers will make the trip home from The Sunshine State and next host Calloway County on Monday.
