Caldwell County senior Laney Jones had a big day at the plate in the Lady Tigers’ 11-1 win over Murray on Thursday.
That includes a two-run single to right in the fourth inning that put Caldwell up 3-1. It was part of a seven-run inning as the Lady Tigers ended a four-game losing skid.
Caldwell, now 6-6, will host Fort Campbell on Monday in a first-round game in the 2nd Region All A Classic.
