
The Livingston Central Lady Cardinals exhibited the punch in their bats Monday evening. The Lady Cardinals left the yard three times and powered their way past the UHA Lady Blazers 16-1 in four innings to advance to the semifinals of the 2nd Region All A Classic softball tournament.
The Lady Cardinals got solid pitching as well. Two Lady Cardinal hurlers combined in the circle to limit the Lady Blazers to just one hit in the contest.
Livingston Central brought the thunder to the game early on, as the Lady Cardinals got home runs from Emersyn Ramage and Hadley Hargrove on their way to an 8-0 lead after the top of the first.
The Lady Blazers got their only run of the game in the bottom half of the inning when Katherine Wood singled to drive in Trinity Luke to make it 8-1.

Livingston Central continued to hammer the ball at the plate. The Lady Cardinals scored two in the second, two in the third, and four more in the fourth inning. The third home run of the game came off the bat of Victoria Joiner in the top of the fourth inning.
Hadley Hargrove limited the opportunities for the Lady Blazers, giving up just the one hit over three innings of work, striking out six and walking none.
Livingston rapped out 18 hits and took advantage of three Lady Blazer errors.
