Caldwell County senior Ben Goodaker had good stuff on the mound on Monday.
That enabled him and the Tigers to come out on top in a pitchers’ duel at Lyon County 3-1 in a 2nd Region All A Classic semifinal contest.
Caldwell will next play Livingston Central in the semifinals Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Smithland.
YSE caught up with Goodaker after he improved to 5-0 with a five-hit, nine-strikeout performance.
