Lyon County scored early and often, and rode the no-hit pitching of Lilly Perry to a 14-0 win over Heritage Christian Academy Monday in the quarterfinal round of the 2nd Region All A Classic.

Perry struck out nine and walked three in the five-inning contest in Eddyville.

Meanwhile, Lyon’s offense backed her with a 17-hit attack.

A five-run first inning gave the Lady Lyons the lead.

Four runs in each of the second and third innings made it 13-0.

Lyon added another run in the fourth to finish the scoring.

Perry was 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and four runs batted in.

Piper Cotham was 3-for-3 with an RBI while Lauren Davis went 3-for-4.

Jenna Coursey went 2-for-2 and drove in two.

The Lady Lyons advance on to the All A semifinals, which they will host on Tuesday.

Caldwell County faces Livingston Central at 5:30 while Lyon takes on Crittenden County at 7:00.

Tuesday’s winners will play Thursday in Eddyville for the regional All A championship and a trip to Owensboro for the state tournament.
