Caldwell County’s girls swept three doubles matches from Lyon County to claim a 6-3 victory in makeup action Friday in Princeton.
The teams had split six singles matches.
In singles play:
Anna Crawford (LC) defeated Josie Shaffer 8-3;
Josie Kaminski (LC) def. Keegan Miller 8-4;
Avery Ritchey (CC) def. Allie Holt 8-4;
Jackie Holt (LC) def. Emma Peake 8-2;
Ella Johnson (CC) def. Elizabeth Harper 8-1;
Meleah Greenfield (CC) def. Talaila Taylor 8-1.
In doubles:
McClung/Miller (CC) def. Crawford/Kaminski 6-3, 6-2;
Ritchey/Peake (CC) def. Taylor/Gracey Harper 8-2;
Johnson/Greenfield (CC) def. Jackie Holt/Elizabeth Harper 8-1.
Caldwell’s tennis team will next go to Union County on Monday.
