Lady Wildcats Finish 5th on the Fort Campbell Track

Helped by several personal bests and finishes that rank high in the history of Trigg County track and field, the Lady Wildcats finished in fifth place Saturday at Fort Campbell’s Coach Johnson Memorial Classic.

Trigg County’s team total of 77 points was 20 points behind fourth place Clarksville High and 22 points more than West Creek in the 10-team event.

SPRINTS

Fatu Crain continues to take her times downward as she recorded personal bests in two events. She won the 400-meter dash in a personal best time of 1:00.87 as she inches closer to breaking the 60-second mark. Her time is eighth-fastest in school history.

She finished second in the 100-meter dash in 13.11 seconds and scored a personal best in the 200 meters with a time of 26.60 seconds to finish in second place.

Brooke Humphries was 21st in the 200-meter dash in 33.36 seconds and Serena Campbell was 25th in the 100-meter dash in a personal best time of 16.5 seconds.

HURDLES

Alliyah Thomas won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 51.70 seconds and was fourth in the 400 meters in 1:04.81. She took sixth place in the 200-meter dash in 28.52 seconds.

Riley Brame was third in the 100-meter hurdles in 19.05 seconds.

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Alex Smith finished in 16th place in the 800-meter run in 3:29.20.

Ella Dollison was 17th in the 800-meter run in 3:35.61.

Addison Humphries was 18th in the 800-meter run in 3:40.61.

RELAYS

The 3200-meter relay team of Ella Dollison, Brooke Humphries, Alex Smith, and Addison Humphries finished fourth in 13:50.45.

The 800-meter relay team of Alliyah Thomas, Fatu Crain, Riley Brame, and Serena Campbell finished in fifth place in 1:56.49.

The 400-meter relay team of Serena Campbell, Addison Humphries, Alicia McGee, and Brooke Humphries came in ninth place in 59.96 seconds.

FIELD EVENTS

Alivia Norwood was second in the discus throw with a personal best distance at 79 feet, 2 inches. Her toss was the eighth-best in school history. The freshman also finished eighth in the shot put at 24 feet, 5 inches.

Riley Brame was third in the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches.

Evonna McGee was sixth in the discus throw at 59 feet, 4 inches and was 14th in the long jump with a personal best of 12 feet, 1 inch.

Ella Dollison was 15th in the long jump with a new personal best of 11 feet, 10 inches.

Alex Smith was ninth in the shot put at 24 feet, 1 inch.

Allayah Hargrove was 18th in the discus throw at 44 feet, 4 inches.

Karley Johnson was 19th in the shot put at 16 feet, 7.75 inches.
