Everyone Involved as Lady Rebels Roll at Fort Campbell

Make it nine double-digit performances on the season for the Lady Rebels. The Todd County Central Rebels scored at least four runs in three of their at-bats while pitcher Abby McPherson pitched a three-hit shutout as the Lady Rebels came away with an 18-0 four-inning win Thursday evening at Fort Campbell.

The Lady Rebels got all of the runs they needed in a five-run first inning. The big hit in the inning was a two-run double off the bat of Brooklyn Alder. After being blanked in the second, Todd Central erupted for nine runs in the top of the third, taking advantage of dropped third strikes and hit batters. The big shot in the inning was an RBI triple from Aubrey Perone.

The Lady Rebels capped things off with four runs in the top of the fourth inning. Abby McPherson connected for a two-run triple in the inning.

Ten different Lady Rebels combined for 12 hits in the win. Karli Herrera was 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Averie Luckenbill also had two hits, going 2-3 with two runs scored.

For the Lady Falcons, Ryleigh Watry, Nadia Velez, and Kiley McCrary were all 1-2.

In the circle, Abby McPherson went all four innings. She gave up no runs on three hits, striking out four and walking one.

Todd Central improves to 13-10 with the win. Fort Campbell drops to 2-10.
