
Hopkinsville’s Jared Pogue got a late start as a bowler, taking up the sport shortly before joining the school’s inaugural team this season.
But after rapid improvement that culminated in a 16th-place showing at the Region 1 tournament, Pogue signed on Thursday to continue his bowling career at the collegiate level.
After committing his future to Southern Nazarene University, an NCAA Division II school in Bethany, Oklahoma, Pogue talked about his introduction to the sport.
