Two more teams have been announced for this summer’s Best of the West. The announcement of the latest teams came Friday via social media.
The third team for this summer’s BOTW will be a new face, quite literally. Officials with the annual 7-on-7 passing tournament announced Friday that the Kirkwood Cobras would be taking part in this year’s event.
Kirkwood is the newest school in Montgomery County and will be playing its first year of football.
Also coming to the 2023 passing tourney are the Kenwood Knights. The Knights finished the 2022 season with a record of 3-7.
The Cobras and the Knights become the second and third Tennessee teams to be announced for the 2023 Best of the West, joining the defending champs, Pearl-Cohn.
The 2023 Best of the West is set for July 14 and July 15 at the Stadium of Champions and TieBreaker Park
