Aaron DeSpain has moved into the top spot in Trigg County’s pitching rotation thanks to a four-game stretch that has seen him strike out 28 in 25 innings and allow just seven earned runs (1.96 ERA). For DeSpain, it’s been about trusting his defense and learning to work out of jams without overthrowing.
DeSpain discussed this and more with YSE after getting a win over Calloway County.
