The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers recently competed in the annual sectional even in Bowling Green against some of the top tennis competitors in Western Kentucky. The Lady Tigers picked up a win over Logan County, with tough losses to Greenwood and Paducah Tilghman.
Against Logan County, Hopkinsville won three singles matches and lost two doubles matches. Ella Lester, Allie Fort, and Morgan Woosley picked up the wins in singles action.
In the Greenwood match, Hopkinsville lost the three singles matches and both doubles matches that were played.
Against Paducah Tilghman, the Lady Tigers took the two doubles matches while falling in the three singles matches that were played. The doubles combinations of Allie Fort/Ella Lester and Morgan Woosley/Madison Allen won their matches against Tilghman.
