McCrary Sisters Throw No-Nos as Lady Falcons Sweep Dawson Springs

Back-to-back wins for the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons Tuesday evening. The Lady Falcons rolled to a pair of no-hit winners over the Dawson Springs Lady Panthers by identical 17-2 scores.

In the opener, Kiley McCrary pitched a four-inning no-no. McCrary struck out ten and walked six on her way to the win.

Ryleigh Watry led the Lady Falcons, scoring 1-3 with three runs. Nadia Velez finished the game 1-3 with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

Fort Campbell scored one run in the first, seven in the second and third, and closed out the game with two runs in the fourth.

Fort Campbell scored their 17 runs on just four hits as the Lady Falcons received nine walks and four hit batters.

The second game was more of the same, except the Lady Falcons closed this one out in three innings, scoring two in the first, five in the second, and then wrapping up the game with ten runs in the bottom of the third.

This time it was Carrie McCrary throwing the no-hitter. She went three innings, giving up two runs while striking out six and walking three.

McCrary also went 2-2 at the plate with a triple and two RBIs. Hailey Herron ended up 2-2 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored. Tristin Caldwell was 2-2 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs scored.

In this game, the Lady Falcons scored 17 runs on a total of 8 hits. They took advantage of nine walks and four hit batters.

The Lady Falcons are set to travel to UHA Wednesday night.
