Kentucky baseball had a record crowd on Tuesday night in Lexington but their bats didn’t show up in a 7-0 defeat by the in-state rival Louisville Cardinals. The shutout loss is even worse when you look at Louisville’s recent stretch of a 1-6 record in their last seven games. After a hot start to the season, Kentucky suddenly finds themselves in a real slump by losing four of their last six outings. The Wildcats will look to bounce back this weekend when they travel to Nashville for a tough matchup at Vanderbilt.
