A good start for the Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles was a bit much for the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors to overcome Monday evening. CFS scored in each of its first four at-bats on the way to an 11-2 win at HCA.

The Lady Eagles used a total of 18 hits to plate their eleven runs as they scored three in the first, two in the second, three in the third, and one on the fourth. CFS would then add a pair of runs in the top of the sixth inning.

Both Lady Warrior runs came in the bottom of the first inning. After a pair of walks, Rachel Robson scored on a wild pitch and then Madison Warren connected for a single with Hallie Zieg scoring on the throw to cut the CFS lead to 3-2.

But, from that point, CFS pitcher Jayden Jackson closed the door on the Lady Warriors. Jackson would finish the game going all seven innings, giving up two runs on five hits, striking out seven and walking three.

For HCA, five different players had a hit in the game. Hallie Zieg, Madison Warren, Hadlee Hayes, Layton Weeks, and Kailyn Stanley had one hit each for the Lady Warriors.
