After a senior season that ended just short of a trip to Rupp Arena, Hopkinsville’s Bubba Leavell signed on Monday to continue his basketball career at Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas.
Leavell scored a shade under 15 points per game as a senior, including a team-high 25 in the 2nd-Region championship, to earn All-District and All-Region Tournament team honors.
The Scotties compete in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in the NJCAA. Last season they finished 14-16, 5-9 in conference play.
