Aiden Blaszkowski pitched a three-hit shutout and Fort Campbel put 15 runs on the board as the Falcons rolled past Russellville 15-0 in four innings on the road Thursday evening. The win was the third in the last five games for the Falcons.
Blaszkowski struck out six and walked one in his four innings of work.
The Falcons plated five runs in the first, five in the third, and five more in the top of the fourth. Fort Campbell was able to take advantage of twelve walks, two hit batters, and two Panther errors in scoring the 15 runs.
Adam Harrington led the offensive attack for the Falcons, going 3-3 with two RBIs. John Arnold ended up 2-3 with a double, 4 RBIs, and two runs scored. William Lubas was 1-2 with two RBIs, and two runs scored.
The 15 runs equaled the Falcons’ highest run total of the season, set in two games against Heritage Christian. The shutout was the Falcons’ second of the season.
With the win, the Falcons improve to 5-18 on the year.
