The tennis careers of Kate Bennett and Hannah Jane Holland came to an end in the first round of the Region Two Tennis Tournament Monday in Henderson.
The University Heights Academy seniors fell to the four-seed Merrick Conkright and Cameron Chandler 6-3, 6-3.
In singles play, Emily Davis fell to Union County’s Allison Diebler 6-1, 6-1 in the Round of 16.
