Lyons Finish in 12th at Region Track Meet

The Lyon County Lyons finished in 12th place at Thursday’s Region 1 Track and Field Meet at Mayfield High School.

SPRINTS

Jordon Jackson finished in 15^th place in the 100-meter dash (12.78) and Kyle Jackson was 16^th (12.85). Jordon was also 14^th in the 200 meters (26.56) and 11^th in the 400 meters (59.72).

Bryan Porter was 15^th in the 400 meters (1:03.90).

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Carter Bounds was fifth in the 3200 meters with a personal best time of 11:24.88.

Ethan Gossard was 13^th in the 800-meter run (2:33.31), while Ian Gossard was 17^th in the 1600-meter run (6:45.18). Lucas Poague was 18^th in the 1600 meters (7:00.66).

RELAYS

The 3200-meter relay team was sixth in 11:07.81.

The 400-meter relay team came in seventh place in 1:47.50.
