The 3200-meter relay team from Dawson Springs ended its track and field season Thursday by just missing a school record.
Tyler Hale, Jared Jones, Lucas Osborne, and Montgomery Johnston covered the two miles in 9:09.60 to finish in 14th place at the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Class 1A State Track and Field Meet in Lexington. They ran a 9:01.25 at the region meet two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, seventh grader Audrey McCoy finished in 14th place in the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches. Her height is tied for ninth best in school history.
