Lyon County sophomore Eli Baker has been named Second Team All-State by the Kentucky Baseball Coaches Association.

Baker hit .354 for the Lyons with a team-high six home runs and 26 RBI. He was also a perfect 12-for-12 in stolen bases.

On the mound, Baker was 7-1 with an 0.98 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 50 innings. He allowed just 25 hits and seven earned runs.

Baker, Christian County’s Elijah Underhill (Mr. Baseball, First-Team All-State), and Henderson County’s Dru Meadows (Third-Team) were the only 2nd Region players to receive All-State recognition.
