UHA Has Six Selections to All-State Track Team

University Heights Academy had six selections to the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association All-State Teams.

Cole Glover was named First Team All-State in the 800-meter run and Second Team All-State in the 3200-meter run.

His 3200-meter time was 10:00.19 – the second fastest in school history.

Cam Brown was named Second-Team All-State in the 400 meters. He finished in third place at the Class 1A State Meet with the third-fastest time in school history.

Griffin McCoy finished in third place in the triple jump, breaking his own school record with a distance of 42-10.50.

UHA also had a pair of relay teams named First Team All-State. The 1600-meter relay team of Trey Wallace, Cam Brown, Griffin McCoy, and Clayton Lester won the state title in a school-record time of 3:29.28.

The same group finished second in the 800-meter relay, setting a new school record at 1:32, knocking over two seconds off their previous best. The foursome has run the seven fastest times in school history in the relay.
