Two Christian County baseball players are among those participating this week in a couple of baseball showcase events at Centre College in Danville. Carter Sholar and Aiden Lewis will be playing in the East-West All-Star games conducted by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association and PBR of Kentucky.
Lewis will be taking part in the sophomore games, which will begin Tuesday at 12:30pm.
Sholar will be in the junior game, which will get started Wednesday at 12:30pm.
Games each day are preceded by workout sessions.
Some 80-90 players selected by the state’s high school baseball coaches will be participating in the event.
