A second Caldwell County Lady Tiger has announced plans to play college softball at Frontier Community College in Fairfield, Illinois.
Shortstop Alicia Stanley made her future proclamation on social media Sunday night.
“I am excited to announce my commitment to Frontier College to further my academic and athletic career,” Stanley wrote.
Caldwell grad A.J. Hollowell revealed two weeks ago that she was headed to Frontier College this fall.
Stanley hit .345 as a junior this spring at Caldwell County. She had four home runs and 20 runs batted in to help the Lady Tigers go 18-13 and finish as 2nd Region runner-up to Henderson County, which was a state semifinalist.
As a sophomore in 2022, Stanley hit at a .419 clip with nine homers and 33 RBIs. Caldwell went 16-13 that season and reached the regional semifinals.
Frontier College competes in Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
The Bobcats went 30-24 this past season.
