The pipeline of softball players from the Second Region to play for Frontier College has increased by one as Trigg County’s Rylee Hendricks has announced her commitment to the college.

Hendricks hit .500 during her junior season at Trigg County, setting a school record with 46 hits. She had 15 extra-base hits and led the Lady Wildcats with 21 RBI. Her big offensive numbers were the result of improved contact. She only struck out five times in 105 plate appearances in 2023.

Hendricks can etch her name further into the Trigg County softball record book in 2024.

She joins Caldwell County’s A.J. Hollowell and Alicia Stanley as future Frontier College players. Emma Staples of Caldwell County and Christian County’s Tenley Gilbert also recently finished two-year careers at Frontier.

Frontier College competes in Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

The Bobcats went 30-24 this past season.
