Conlee Lindsey shot a 5-over par 76 to win the Go Junior Golf Series Southern Championship Thursday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Lindsey went out on the back-nine where she shot a 41 but closed with an even-par 35 on the front nine. The University Heights Academy junior finished seven shots ahead of Sydney Browning of Madisonville and eight shots ahead of Anna Fort, who will be a senior at Hopkinsville High School.
In the 13-15 age group, Henderson’s Meryl Grogan shot an 83 to win by 13 shots over Gracie Galyen of Dunmoor. Campbell Lindsey, who will be an eighth grader at University Heights Academy this fall, finished in fourth place after shooting a 107.
