Grant Broughton needed three extra holes to win the Marshall County Invitational Tuesday at the Calvert City Country Club.
The Daviess County sophomore and Greenwood’s Jacob Lang each shot a 2-under-par 70. Both made par on the 18th hole. The third playoff hole was on No. 10 where Broughton’s approach found the green while Lang went long and over the green on his second shot. Broughton was able to finish and get the win.
They finished two shots ahead of Madisonville’s Austin Crick, McCracken County’s Landon Hunt, and McCracken’s Cannon Ford.
Marshall County took the team title with Bowling Green finishing in second place.
