University Heights Academy opened the 2023 girls’ golf season with a seventh-place finish at the Marshall County Invitational.
Conlee Lindsey shot a 14-over-par 86 to finish tied for 16th place at the Calvert City Country Club.
Campbell Lindsey shot a 109, followed by Allie Sandifer with a 113. Caroline Tucker, playing in her first match, shot a 149.
Defending state champion Trinity Beth of Marshall County shot a 2-under-par 70 to defeat her teammate Katie Roberts and Madisonville’s Karra Tucker by four shots.
