
The Union County Braves had a big season in 2022, winning their first 12 games before falling in the third round of the Class 3A playoffs. Ten seniors, however, are gone from last year’s team, leaving the Braves some significant holes to fill. During Saturday’s Media Day at the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex, Coach Derek Johns spoke about doing just that and looking ahead to the new season.
